The Gardener is the sonic representation of an unusual woodland garden that has been teased from hardy Scottish landscape by visionary S.A. Smith. Accompanied by renowned duet Dave & Lindsay, best known for their enigmatic close harmonies and faultless rhythm, you will find yourself in a ‘borrowed landscape’ with long views of the surrounding countryside and cosy corners to lose oneself amongst the moss and undergrowth. Three decades in the making, Gorthleck Gardens drapes over and around an exposed rocky ridge. It is a large ever expanding garden that demands sufficient time to see and hear it properly.
